Blue Water consolidates activities at the port in Aarhus: Closer to key logistics hub

Every day, thousands of people head to work at the port in Aarhus. Recently, that number grew, as Blue Water has brought together all its Aarhus-based activities in a new office building on the port.

Previously, the company had two locations in Denmark's second largest city, but going forward their employees in East Jutland will work in the same place.

By bringing our operations together in one place, we achieve strong synergies and improve both our internal workflows and customer service,

says Jan Dam Poulsen, Regional Senior Vice President at Blue Water Shipping.

Blue Water's new building will house several of the company's business areas. This applies to sea, road, air and courier transport, special transport, project transport, stevedoring and agency tasks for ships calling at the port.

The consolidation is aimed at creating growth, efficiency and closer cooperation across the company's business areas. And the rallying point is no coincidence, but a conscious choice about proximity to logistics and customers.

The location at the port in Aarhus gives us an exceptional proximity to one of the country's most important logistical hubs,

says Jan Dam Poulsen.

About 140 employees from Blue Water will attend the new address in the future.
