Port of Aarhus disposes over 280 hectares of land and leases large areas to port-relevant businesses. Additionally, there are excellent opportunities for leasing cold storage and warehouses in the port area – both through Port of Aarhus and various private companies.

Centre for Port-Relevant Business
Port of Aarhus controls 280 hectares of land. Large parts of the area are currently leased to various port-relevant businesses. The lands are leased both with and without coating and with or without buildings.
There is high demand for land. Thus, we continuously optimize our areas and invest in the development of these lands and our warehouse facilities. Over the next 30 years, we plan to expand our areas through the establishment of the Outer Harbour (Yderhavn), adding a total of 84 hectares.
Lease of Cold Storage and Warehouses
At the port in Aarhus, there is large capacity of cold storage and warehouses for rent. The facilities include, for example, freezing, repackaging, and sorting, which among other things makes it possible to import, export, and distribute goods in an uninterrupted cold chain.
It is possible to rent cold storage and warehouses through Port of Aarhus as well as several companies located at the port, which offer complete storage and freezing solutions for refrigerated and frozen goods.
