Efficient Loading and Unloading
With a market share of 71 percent of the Danish container market, the Port of Aarhus is Denmark's largest container port. Each week, the large container cranes serve some of the world's largest container ships at our terminal, operated by APM Terminals. The cranes perform more container lifts per crane hour than many of the major container ports in Europe and the rest of the world.
Routes to Most of the World
As the only Danish port with direct access to Asia, rail tracks leading right up to the quays at the container terminal, and the E45 motorway just five minutes away, Port of Aarhus offers a comprehensive route network to most of the world.
